If you’re in a field where a Certificate is the most important thing, then Coursera is for you. Coursera is accredited, most of the courses are offered by top Universities & top institutions all over the world, making the certificate highly valuable.

Udemy has more courses, more detailed & practical approach to learning. However, unlike Coursera, Udemy is not accredited. While it is known all over the world, certificate-wise, it is of lesser value. In fields where skill is everything, people would hug an Udemy guy first.

Udemy vs Coursera: Personal Experience

Hope this is clear enough. “Personally, I roll with Udemy. I bought a Coursera course, the course was offered by a Top institution in California, to be honest, I was dozing off halfway throughout“. Just make a choice based on what your field needs.

Udemy vs Coursera: Cost of Learning

To be honest, I don’t think there’s any difference. Except for when they’re on promotion. However, there are several Free Courses by both platforms, and others on Future Syllabus.

  1. Find free courses on Coursera
  2. Find free courses on Udemy
  3. Find free courses on Future Learn
